I am a wife and mother of twin toddlers. We live in the North Metro on 7+ acres. I left my life as a lawyer to raise my two beautiful girls and to live the life of an urban farmer. We have 10
laying hens that free range on our land. We like to maintain heritage breeds and promote the longevity of endangered or threatened breeds. We also have vegetable gardens, including several raised beds, asparagus patch, berry patch and orchard. I love growing my own food and we use organic and sustainable methods whenever possible. We only grow heirloom and/or open pollinated vegetables. I love to cook and use what we raise and grow in my recipes. Thank you for visiting my blog!
